# Adding Clients

You have multiple options to refer your clients and add them to the system. We also have a demo video that goes over all the different ways to add a client plus the benefits review experience - [Starting care for a new client](https://www.loom.com/share/d3b5c34dc7ad4a24b6641907b2eaefd3).

Adding a new client to Prava requires creating the client profile and then adding the initial case that corresponds to the condition or body part being treated. Additional cases can also be created for existing clients if they present with a different diagnosis or referral for a separate body part, especially when required by the client’s payer. For more information on cases please refer to [Client Cases](/client-cases.md).

## Email us the information <a href="#email-us-the-information" id="email-us-the-information"></a>

If you have a referral order from a physician or pictures of insurance cards you can send an email to <provider.support@pravatherapy.com> and we will add the client to the system on your behalf.

## Share a direct booking link with clients <a href="#share-a-direct-booking-link-with-clients" id="share-a-direct-booking-link-with-clients"></a>

Reach out to us and we can provide you with your unique booking link that you can share with clients directly to book with you. The form will collect all the required client and insurance information and allow them to book a slot directly on your calendar. You will receive an email notification for any new bookings.

**Important:** Make sure to [set your availability](/scheduling-availability-setup.md#set-your-weekly-availability) in the system so that clients have available time slots to choose from when using your booking link.

## Directly add the client to the Prava EHR <a href="#directly-add-the-client-to-the-prava-ehr" id="directly-add-the-client-to-the-prava-ehr"></a>

You can also directly add the client in the EHR if you have their information already and want to book the appointment yourself.

Head to <https://app.pravatherapy.com/clients> and click on “Add client” in the top right:

We have the ability to automatically pre-fill all of the client information if you already have a referral order or pictures of any insurance cards, which makes the client creation much faster!

If you add a client yourself, please create the corresponding case before documenting care. Otherwise, you will be prompted to create a case when writing chart notes.

## Share our fax number with referring physicians <a href="#share-our-fax-number-with-referring-physicians" id="share-our-fax-number-with-referring-physicians"></a>

You can share our direct fax number 1 (877) 349-1138 with any referring physicians and we can automatically add clients for any incoming referrals. Make sure the fax is addressed to you with your name on it, so we know who to assign the client to.

## Share our phone number with clients <a href="#share-our-phone-number-with-clients" id="share-our-phone-number-with-clients"></a>

You can share our phone number 1 (877) 472-2261 with any clients and have them call us to book an appointment and collect all of their insurance information.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.pravatherapy.com/adding-clients.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
