# Managing Your Profile

Your provider profile is what clients see when they book with you and what Prava uses for scheduling and billing. You can review and update it yourself from either the web portal or the mobile app.

## Web Platform <a href="#web-platform" id="web-platform"></a>

Click your name at the bottom of the left navigation bar and select "Profile". This opens your provider page with tabs for Overview, Public Profile, Billing/Insurance and Smart Phrases.

## Mobile App <a href="#mobile-app" id="mobile-app"></a>

Go to the Menu tab and select "Personal Profile". Billing / Insurance and Smart phrases are separate entries in the same menu.

## Personal information <a href="#personal-information" id="personal-information"></a>

On the Overview tab (web) or under Personal Profile (mobile) you can update your name, the legal first name used on claims, your phone number and gender.

Your email, NPI and specialty are managed by Prava and can't be changed here. If any of these are wrong, email <provider.support@pravatherapy.com>.

## Photo, bio and certification <a href="#photo-bio-and-certification" id="photo-bio-and-certification"></a>

Go to the Public Profile tab (web) and click "Edit", or open the Bio and photo sections under Personal Profile (mobile). Here you can upload and crop a profile photo and update the bio and certifications shown on your booking page. The Public Profile tab shows a preview of exactly what clients will see.

## Service coverage and directory visibility <a href="#service-coverage-and-directory-visibility" id="service-coverage-and-directory-visibility"></a>

On the web, the Public Profile edit screen has a "Service Coverage" section that controls where and how clients can book with you:

* Active States: the states you are licensed to treat in
* Places of Service: the location types you see clients at (in clinic, client's home, virtual). This controls which options clients see on your booking page
* Default Place of Service: the option pre-selected on your booking page
* Service Areas: the zip codes you are willing to travel to for home visits
* Accepted Payer Groups: the insurance plans you advertise that you accept. This is updated automatically as you get credentialed with new payers

The eye icon next to the Edit button shows whether you are listed in the Prava provider search. Email <provider.support@pravatherapy.com> if you'd like that changed.

## Appointment locations <a href="#appointment-locations" id="appointment-locations"></a>

Under Overview (web) or Personal Profile (mobile) you can choose which of your practice's clinic addresses you see clients at. These appear as options when scheduling appointments. To add a new clinic address, ask your practice owner or email <provider.support@pravatherapy.com>.

## Your organization (practice owners) <a href="#your-organization" id="your-organization"></a>

If you own a practice that has the Organization page (called Community for assisted living facilities), you can open it from the left navigation bar. It has these tabs:

* Overview: your organization's name, phone number and address. To change these, email <provider.support@pravatherapy.com>.
* Members: the providers and support staff in your organization.
* Appointment Locations: your practice's clinic addresses. You can add, edit and delete them here. The "Client's Home" location is created automatically and can't be changed.

Assisted living facilities also see Census, Screenings and Wellness tabs.

## Billing / Insurance <a href="#billing-insurance" id="billing-insurance"></a>

The Billing/Insurance tab (web) or menu entry (mobile) shows:

* Credentials: your current credentialing status with each payer network. See Part 1 of the Onboarding Guide for what these statuses mean
* Cash Pay Fee Schedules: the rates charged to cash pay clients. You can add and edit these yourself
* Cancellation Fees: the late cancellation and no-show fees shown on your clients' cost estimates. See Late Cancellations/No Show Fees for how these are charged

## Account & security <a href="#account-security" id="account-security"></a>

To change your password, set up two-factor authentication or review the devices signed in to your account, click your name at the bottom of the left navigation bar on the web and select "Account security"

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.pravatherapy.com/managing-your-profile.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
